To be a dad blogger is to be the doctor, the patient, and the audience…observing your self-surgery in that cool hospital theater room thing. Those are real right, not just elaborate set designs on primetime hospital dramas?
A dad blogger must be willing to cut himself open as a means of healing one’s self, reconciling demons, addressing fears, and being outwardly vulnerable, all with the hope of stepping away from the keyboard with a better understanding of himself, and of his role in his family’s life.
Also, to be an effective dad blogger you’ve gotta make it rain metaphors like Drake at a strip club with cargo-pants pockets full of Benjamins.
Similes okay too.
Blog on, gents.
