If you have daughters, as I do, and if they love Skylanders, as we do, then you’ve probably been chomping at the bit (or having uncomfortable wet dreams) about the 8th and final Giant figure/character, Ninjini (shown above in all her kick-ass glory). My two girls asked Santa for her and, try as I might, I could not find her. This because she was not available, in stores or inside elven workshops.
Ninjini was as elusive as a Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl win, but no more. Unlike the city of brother love’s perpetual football woes, Ninjini is here. Well, sort of.
It is actually going to be very easy to get Ninjini, and get her for free. Here’s exactly how to do it, in 2 easy steps:
1) Live in, or have the ability to get into, New York City. Times Square, to be specific, and tomorrow afternoon to narrow it down even further for you. For it is at the flagship Toys-r-Us store in Times Square on Tuesday, February 5th, that Activision will drop its celebratory Ninjini ball onto loyal Skylanders enthusiasts.
2) Have some patience, ’cause that place is going to be crazy crowded.
If for some reason you are out on the Skylanders thing or, conversely, are looking to sell off some of your other games as a means of affording your very expansive Skylanders habit (let there be comfort in knowing that you are not alone here,) check out musicmagpie.com where you can sell your old CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray movies, and video games.
