Laurie Berkner fan? Live in or near Philly? You’re probably going to want to pencil in this event on your family’s social calendar.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s annual Healthy Kids Day is taking place on Saturday, May 22 2010 at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. The free event runs from Noon to 4pm and features performances by The Laurie Berkner Band and, wait for it, Hip Hop Harry! Oh bother. For those craving real kid-hop, wait till summer when Secret Agent 23 Skidoo returns to World Cafe Live and the Philly Zoo.
According to Berkner’s calendar, she is scheduled to take the stage at 2pm, but you might want to double check that start time when you arrive.
Also in attendance at CHOP’s Healthy Kids Day will be Philadelphia Eagle offensive lineman Winston Justice. No word on if Osi Umenyiora will also be there.
