OWTK PHILLY LOCAL: The Pop Ups Bring PASTA! to Philly on 10/15

Acclaimed kindie rock duo The Pop Ups have been dazzling packed houses in New York City and Los Angeles off and on for the past 18 months with their high-energy musical starring themselves and a handful of professional, Muppet Workshop quality puppets.  The show centers around a noble quest to create the greatest locally-sourced tomato sauce ever and features 5 songs from the band’s brilliant debut CD “Outside Voices”.  PASTA!’s closing number is the best thing you’ll see on any stage – kid’s or adult – this year.

Musically, The Pop Ups are genre-diverse; utilizing electronica, rock, and reggae as exhibited in “Balloon” (a song that is in PASTA!):

The Brooklyn duo of Jacob Stein and Jason Rabinowitz will finally bring their smash hit puppet musical PASTA! to Philly this Saturday at 11:30am at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St.

OWTK has seen PASTA! on both coasts and cannot recommend it enough (full show review here on OWTK and here in Time Out NY Kids Magazine).  You will laugh, you will dance, you will have a great time.  The show is also an amazing value at $10 for adults, $7 for kids!
