I knew that someday soon my oldest daughter would start to be presented with real life dangers in a constructive way to help her navigate through potential pitfalls and hazards on the way toward becoming a happy and productive adult. But I didn’t anticipate this.

Washington D.C. is the nation’s capital (duh) and as such is home to rich U.S. history, oodles of amazing museums, stunning monuments, and several panda bears (including a new cub who was just born last week!), but being at the bottom of the Boston to NYC to Philly NE Corridor sometimes means the District is overlooked.

The 2nd annual Okee Dokee Brothers’ End of Summer, Far-Out Campout airs this weekend on Sirius XM Kids Place Live (Channel 78). The concert was recorded in the woods of Maryland, just north of Harper’s Ferry, WV, back in May. It was rainy, it was soggy, it was awesome.

Thanks to chucklesome, tongue-in-cheek macho monikers, Toyota has famously tried over the years to make their Sienna minivan more than just another boring family vehicle clunking bratty kids around from grocery store to ballet recitals to t-ball practices to Mommy & Me classes.
