Ever since Dove Men + Care began graciously providing me with the occasional shipment of soap and shampoo to keep me smelling nice, sending me to watch my beloved Michigan State Spartans play in NCAA tournament games, and flying me, my dad and the Bear around to partake in MLB first pitch ceremonies (that should be singular, technically, but I’m leaving the door cracked for an encore performance), my mom has been eagerly awaiting her chance to join her youngest son at some kind of glamorous event. She’s probably still sitting patiently by the phone.

Martha Stewart’s new cookbook, Appetizers, is about to be released and to celebrate, her book + cooking demo tour visits Philadelphia on Thursday, September 10th at Macy’s Center City.
Martha Stewart and Thomas Joseph will host as Martha shares secrets and tips from her new recipes in her latest cookbook, Appetizers. Being a huge fan of tapas, small plates, and basically the ability to not commit to an entire entree but instead sample many different tastes and textures in my own kitchen and while dining out, I’m pretty stoked to pick up a copy of Martha Stewart’s Appetizers for myself. And maybe share it with my mom. 😉 I’m hoping to discover in those pages, and live in person at Macy’s too, a few recipes for something fun, fresh, and fast (and maybe vegetarian!) to liven up my oldest daughter’s plate this autumn.
