The NYC Dads Group gave me the opportunity to chat with kid’s music legend Dan Zanes recently, to discuss the evolving landscape of childhood in the big city and, similarly, how being a dad in the Big Apple has changed in the two decades since the famous crazy-haired kid’s rocker became a daddy to a daughter. Dan and I also discussed his new early education music program, a pair of upcoming NYC shows, the end of an era for his music, and what might lie ahead for him as he looks to extend his wildly successful 15-year family music career.
