Save for a few gems at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville each year, it’s rare that the creme de la creme of family music comes to the Philly suburbs. That fact makes this free Alastair Moock concert a must-attend family event at 7pm on May 19th at the People’s Light and Theatre on Route 401 in Malvern, PA.
Moock will be performing songs from his Grammy nominated album Singing Our Way Through: Songs for the World’s Bravest Kids, an inspiring and oft-funny collection of songs written for and co-written by Clio, one of Moock’s adorable twin daughters after she was diagnosed with leukemia at age 5 in 2012. This CD is a tribute to every kid who does battle every day.
Alastair’s been on with Katie Couric, NPR, Good Morning America, in the pages of People Magazine and a cover boy in The Boston Globe, now see him live and in person for free at this Community Matters event in Malvern, PA.
This Alastair Moock family concert is free but it is requested that you make a reservation ahead of time by calling 610-644-3500 or by visiting the People’s Light website.
