Join OWTK on Sunday, February 28th for a Putumayo Kids Jazz Playground concert (2 of ’em, actually) at The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.
We love the whole Jazz Playground disc from Putumayo Kids – heck, I reviewed the album for Time Out New York Kids – but we’re especially smitten with saxophonist Oran Etkin’s take on “Mary Had A Little Lamb”. Well, whaddya know, Mr. Etkin will be in town performing a pair of pint-sized jazz shows (1pm and 3pm) in the Please Touch’s Playhouse Theater on Sunday 2/28 to close out the museum’s month-long celebration of jazz.
The Putumayo Kids/Oran Etkin jazz show is free with museum admission (which is not cheap, but worth the money). More info here.
