Tim Kubart and Matt Puckett, former cohorts of Ashley Albert in The Jimmies, have formed a new kiddie rock act called Tim and the Space Cadets. The newly minted outfit has already released a 5-song EP and a video, for the song “Superhero” (*this fine video has been posted on several other kid’s music sites already, but it’s really good so I want to share it here as well.)
The EP is titled “The Greatest Party Ever” – tracklist below.

As you’ll quickly see, the mini-film for “Superhero” is of the highest quality, a trait also associated with the bevy of music videos by The Jimmies. Enjoy.
There’s a healthy does of SteveSongs, and a dash of Terrible Twos, in The Space Cadets sound. The music is light, bright and happy. I think you’ll agree that Tim and the Space Cadets are an excellent addition to the kid’s music community.
