More Minutes To Live The Life You Want + A Great Clips Gift Card Giveaway

I’ve got a decent amount of free time. I’m lucky that way, really lucky, and I don’t take it for granted, but that doesn’t mean I’m cool with tossing away precious minutes sitting in traffic, waiting in lines or queuing in lobbies.

I run my life with max efficiency, and I demand the same from the people and businesses with whom I interact. Slow me down and face my scorn. No playin’.

All this is especially true in the few hours between the end of the school day and my daughters’ bedtime. With each kid in the school band (and my youngest ambitiously in both band AND orchestra), homework, school projects, much needed showers, free reading time and maybe, just maybe, an episode or two of the new Project MC2 season or the debut run of Skylanders Academy cartoons on Netflix to chill out after a long, demanding day in 7th and 4th grade, we do.not.have.the.time to waste waiting for anything.

Thankfully, when the bell tolls for my pre-teen daughters to get their semi-annual haircuts, Great Clips makes it so that we don’t have to wait a minute for a hairdresser to become available. We’re in and we’re out, with shorten, cleaned-up and de-knotted locks.

The same is true on weekends when I’ve got a double date with Premier League football matches. I want to run out at halftime or in between matches, get my stuff done and be back in front of the TV. Great Clips makes this possible too and I want you to have More Minutes of your life back as well. See below for a sweet giveaway.

This is what we did on Saturday, during halftime of the Liverpool v. Crystal Palace match. The girls went straight in, gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to the idea of getting a shampoo in those nifty tilt-your-head-back-in-a-sink contraptions, and then got their dead-ends clipped off, thickness thinned and, in the case of my youngest daughter, her hair smoooooothed out beautifully.

So what they she had it all tangled up again and with food in it a few hours later, it was smoooooooth and beautiful for a that one shining moment! We parents live for those blissfully perfect moments.

With online check-in from your smartphone you can see all your local Great Clips locations and the real time wait time at each. Pick which one works for you and your sched, check-in and then show up. You or your kids will be ushered back for a shampoo if you wish (do it do it do it! it’s a well-spent $5) and then seated for a trim, a cut, a blowdry and a much-needed tween hair clean-up.

Now, here’s your chance to win one of two $50 Great Clips Gift Cards so that you can get your kids’ hair cut without wasting a minute of your precious family time. Get More Minutes to live the life you want…and get your kid’s wild hair under control…in only for a smooth, beautiful moment.

Tell me what you’d accomplish with the minutes saved by not waiting in line or queuing in a lobby at Great Clips. Aaaaand go! I’ll pick two winners at random next week.
