Start with these adorable little pasta purses from Trader Joe’s, bring to a boil as directed and while that Hot Water Magic (proper noun capitalization because that should totally be a band name) is occurring, pour some real maple syrup and a few pats of real, salted butter into a hot frying pan, make it sizzle but not burn and then ladle out the pasta into the pan, bringing a pinch or three of the pasta water to the party. Toss and serve.
