Are the pieces of the highlighter yellow LEGO CD clock radio now in a box beneath the invention table that’s seen less action that a church confessional in a red light district?
Yes.
But that matters not because the 7 year old tinkerer spent that one week, some weeks ago, deconstructing, disassembling, and discovering the many wires and circuit boards that once made her clock radio tick and her favorite CDs spin. And, just like running her 4-year-old hands along several of Antoni Gaudi’s wavy buildings and park structures in Barcelona in 2012, I’m willing to invest in the unknowable impact of such moments of childhood wonder.
