The Act II Playhouse in Ambler is an entertainment destination I’ve never visited, or, frankly, heard of until last week. But the intimate, suburban theater is staging a unique holiday show for all-ages called Murray the Elf so its time maybe we all figure out how to get there.
Here’s what the playhouse is saying about this two man show:
“Murray the Elf has been called to the North Pole by Mrs. Claus to solve “The Case of the Missing Mistletoe.” But things in Toyland are never what they appear to be. Two hilarious actors play all the roles – including a reindeer, a snowman and the bewitching Candy Kane – in this new family adventure that mixes mystery with comedy.”
Sounds pretty funny, right? And the best part is that because this venue is outside the city (of Philadelphia) limits, the tickets are very reasonably priced at $12/$8 for adults/kids.
Murray the Elf runs on consecutive weekends, from December 14-23.
