After bringing in kindie rock luminaries Randy Kaplan and Justin Roberts during their ’10-’11 season, WCU Live will continue providing Chester County families with high quality kid’s music this season. Tim and the Space Cadets will soar down from New York City on November 5th bringing with them their catchy power-pop tunes about superheroes, being a tree, awesome parties, and crazy games to the good people of West Chester and beyond.
Tim Kubart, formerly member of The Jimmies, is a tremendous frontman; engaging, funny, energetic and thoroughly charming. You and your kids will fall in love with him and his infectious indie rockin’ tunes. I’ve compared him and his band to Jimmy Eat World, and that remains a good starting point musically.
