Be A Galactic Champion of Joy

There’s something about Haiti and kid’s music.

Heidi Swedberg has been there. Dre Towey, Liz Mitchell, Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Laurie Berkner, Suzi Shelton and others have performed live to raise money for aid organizations doing important work there.  And then there’s the granddaddy of all kindie Haitian relief efforts: The Many Hands Compilation CD.   The album features songs from Jonathan Coulton, Dan Zanes, Pete Seeger, They Might Be Giants, and a gaggle of other kid’s music greats with all proceeds going to the Haitian People’s Support Project which provides drinking water for thousands and school tuition for kids in tent camps.  As of this Fall, sales from the disc have generated over $35,000 for the cause.  Wow.

And now you can help raise a little more cash and pick up a brand new kindie album in the process!

Todd McHatton will be guest DJ-ing Spare the Rock Spoil the Child radio program this weekend and in celebration, will donate 100% of the proceeds from downloads of his terrific new album this week to the Haitian People’s Support Project.

You too can become a Galactic Champion of Joy!  Name your own price, score brilliant all-ages pop music, and help the children of Haiti.  Win-win-win.  Do it.  Now.
