With a name reminiscent of a Don Caballero song title, picture book legend Eric Carle is set to release a retrospective tome of sorts and, in addition, launch a brand new accompanying exhibit at the Massachusetts museum bearing his name.
The Art of Eric Carle: The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse begins 9/20/11 and will feature art from Carle’s new book The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse. There will be a free, exclusive exhibit pre-launch book signing with Eric Carle himself on 9/25/11 at 1pm.
For those unable to get theeself to lovely Amherst, MA, the new book will be available everywhere on October 4th and can be pre-ordered below.
