The esteemed list of 15 was revealed this morning!
The best kid’s CDs of the year (defined here as 11/1/11-10/31/12) as voted on by the judges in the annual Fids & Kamily Music Awards were announced on Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child today. Forget whatever crappy jewel cases sit on Toys-r-Us end caps, forget the Grammy Awards, forget what you hear on Disney radio, these albums (Top 15 + 5 honorable mentions) represent the best and brightest of children’s music in 2012.
