I never did get around to telling you just how much we heart the newest collection of animated videos and soft (but not as soft as before) rock songs from Morgan Taylor & Co.
Gustafer Yellowgold’s Year In The Day, an album focusing on the way Gustafer and his pals celebrate a year’s worth of holidays familiar and not-so, is tremendous from start to finish but the mid-way point, July to be exact, might be the finest moment. Here, Taylor struts his stuff beneath a sky of light and inside a locked-in beat. The Mouse recently celebrated her independence from the shackles of being 4-years-old by ending her birthday party music mix with this 3-minute party-in-a-song.
