Watch This: Ollie the Purple Elephant Book Teaser Video

The creative soul behind Punk Farm and the Lunch Lady Comic Book Series is debuting a new picture book for children this fall, Ollie the Purple Elephant. Jarrett J. Krosoczka illustrated this youthful new character on his honeymoon then serendipitously, he and his wife welcomed their first child soon after. Well, I’ll let JJK tell you the rest of the tale:

In other news, MGM Studios is turning Punk Farm into an animated film directed by David Silverman (“The Simpsons Movie”) with an adapted-for-film script by Daniel Stern. A good year for the writer/illustrator with the impossible to pronounce last name!
