Uncle Rock’s new album “The Big Picture” isn’t out just yet, but you can preview 5 of the new cuts on MySpace. My favorite of the bunch is the meditative “There Is No Away”, kind of a kissing-cousin to Hayes Greenfield’s equally solemn “The Things We Throw Away”. It’s an eco-song that is clever about it’s greenness, unlike so many beat-ya-over-the-head-yet-completely-hollow tunes about going green that seem to be all the rage these days.
Head on over to Uncle Rock’s MySpace Music page and give the handful of new songs a listen. It should get ya pretty excited about “The Big Picture” due out in March.
