The fun won’t last forever.
No, this isn’t a Debbie-downer treatise on childhood’s carefree exploits. The delight of the new-ish iOS/Android app Pepi Bath, like the responsibilitylessness of youth, lasts for only so long. But when it’s fresh, it’s soooo great.
The app, designed for iPhone/iPad as well as for Android, is a bright and colorful way to make cleaning up an absolute blast for your younger children (3-6 should be just about the right age to fall in love with Pepi). Of course, playing Pepi Bath won’t make your ’round-the-house messes vanish but your kids will be in good spirits after helping Pepi (options for a boy or girl in game) take a bath, wash hands, do the laundry and, best of all, make a poop/drop a deuce/go #2. Whatever you call it, Pepi does it and man o’ man is it funny! The doing of the business isn’t seen, ’cause that’d be kinda foul, but it is audible and nothing gets a nearly-5 year old and her young-at-heart papa to laugh quite like the sound of a turd hitting the toilet water.
Once your kiddo runs through the 4 scenes, they may tire of the game as a whole, but I can guarantee they’ll take a potty break during their future iPad/Android playing! Also, once more rooms are added, and I’ve heard nothing to indicate there won’t be updates in the future, the fun will get funner.
Either way, even with only the current 4 rooms to play with and get tidy in, Pepi Bath is well worth the $1.99 price tag.
