Walter Martin, The Walkmen’s multi-instrumentalist, will release his debut solo family album We’re All Young Together on May 13th with much help from many indie rock pals. Martin says “…it’s a serious record disguised as a not serious record.” He had me sold at We’re All Young Together — what a magnificent title!
We’re All Young Together will feature guest appearances by Karen O and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Matt Berninger of the National, Alec Ounsworth of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Kat Edmonson, and The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser and Matt Barrick, among others.
