It’s 2010 and everything feels so damn disposable. Traditions, however small, involving family and/or longtime close friends become more valuable. They’re critical to raising introspective kids with a sense of purpose and a scope beyond their immediate impulses and desires.
That is what I jotted down while driving home from my family’s annual tree trimming party this past weekend. I wrote about this particular Christmas tradition last year and thought I’d revisit it today.
