Special books at Mom mom’s, special games (like Bear Hunt) at school. Our girl has favorite things that are exclusive to places outside the home.
I am tempted, because she likes it so much, to seek out the Bear Hunt song and book and play in our house. But then there is the part of me that wants to keep that game as a special school time activity, something she plays with her friends there.
