For years I kept straight the names of all of my daughters’ dolls and stuffed animal friends — from the one that was always naked (Naked Baby Betty) to the floppy bunny who insisted on wearing his sneakers to bed (Falafel).
I even usually remembered which grades my nieces and nephews were graduating from, but birthdays? Yeah no, I’m no good at those.
NASA celebrated last week and, well, even though I wrote two pieces for Reader’s Digest and MSN News surrounding the big day, I forgot all about it.
