The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, one of kindie rock’s most colorful musical outfits (get it?) are (dino) roaring back onto the national scene this year with a new album (they could use your help) and hopefully some new TV show episodes (they are HILARIOUS — I demand more!)
For now, they are offering up a brand new video (below), their ode to mamas everywhere, and a free download of the track “Mama’s Song” (below-er). The tune doesn’t have the dynamism of some of the Socks’ greatest hits, but what it lacks in pizzazz it more than makes up for in heart.
The video features photos from 150 families, including mine! (can you spot the Mrs. and girls?), as well as pics of the band members with their mommies. Interesting note: Mr. Clown must’ve gotten his Easter egg hair coloring from his papa.
