My mom and dad have been married 49 years today. To each other! Their stability and love for each other and their 3 sons is a huge part of the reason I am so stable in life and in my own relationships. You can’t overstate the value of being raised by terrific parents in a consistent and stable environment, you just can’t.
Much of what I have and have become is owed to my own choices and experiences, but there is no way any of it would have happened the way it did if not for the sturdy foundation provided by Ellie and Don Bogle. Thank you both for everything. Happy Anniversary!
