In lieu of having 900 bales of hay in your backyard, head to the Woodmere Art Musuem on Germantown Ave during weekends this month for the stunning Owl’s Eye Hay Maze.
From the venue:
October 14-16 will have a special Harry Potter celebration as part of the Owl’s Eye maze. There will be a Harry Potter themed seek-and-find, young visitors can make cloaks of invisibility, and more!
The last two weekends of October will, naturally, feature Halloween-themed activities.
From the venue:
On Fridays from 6 – 7 p.m., Woodmere Art Museum will also present art-making activities in the Friday Night Family Happenings series, FREE with hay maze admission. Programs in September and November include Polka Dot Art (September 23), A-Tisket, A-Tasket: Make Art for Your Basket, in honor of Ella Fitzgerald (October 14), The Greatest Pumpkin Ever story hour and pumpkin painting (October 21), and Ghosts, Goblins, Witches, and Really Scary Stuff (October 28).
Admission: $20 for families of 3+, add $3 for flashlight evening tours of the maze (that’s gotta be spooky…and awesome!)
