The Mouse and I just returned from the market. All the Halloween candy was out, in full force. The supermarkets are, of course, hoping that you buy everything you need for 10/31 now, then proceed to eat it all in the next 4 weeks thus forcing you to return to their store to purchase even more. That’s gotta be it, ’cause there’s no other reason candy for the end of October needs to be on the shelves as early as early-September.
I saw candy corn, a lot of it, and immediately thought of comedian Lewis Black. He’s cracked the code on the candy corn.
