Thanks to the internet, you too can co-produce a kindie rock album. For reals.
Monty Harper, a kid’s musician and all-around nice fella, from Stillwater, Oklahoma, is nearing the end of his Kickstarter crowd-sourcing campaign to fund his new album “Songs From The Science Frontier”. He is so very close to reaching his goal of $9000, but must get to that number in order to get any money to make the record. That’s right, if he falls even $5 short, he gets nothing and the donors get their money back. That would absolutely suck.
Help Monty get to $9000 pledged, so that this Chris Wiser (Sugar Free Allstars) produced album will get made. Dr. Rock of the funky Allstars will also be involved, playing drums on the disc. Depending on the level you pledge, you will get kickbacks like a signed CD, your name in the liner notes, and more.
My favorite is the philanthropic $45 level which will net a copy of the CD for three schools (you can choose ’em). Monty will send finished copies of “Songs From The Science Frontier” along with a note giving you credit for the scientastic donation.
