A few weeks back, Clementown performed a special show at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN. On stage drawing during the concert was Calef Brown, the creative force behind the books that inspired the band. Check out this live video of “Magic Electric Guitar” from that show, which includes some wicked guitar soloing (ala another MN native, Prince).
Pay close attention early on, ’cause at the 14-second mark you can see Calef Brown’s in-progress work being displayed on the big screen behind the stage – pretty neat stuff and an awesome idea, to have an artist working in conjunction with a musical performance.
