The Pop Ups Pasta Puppet Musical Hits NYC

Through the end of this week, residents of New York City (as well as visitors to the Big Apple) have a unique kindie rock opportunity.

The Pop Ups, the Brooklyn duo behind one of the most impressive kid’s music debuts ever (“Outside Voices”), is staging it’s puppet musical PASTA! at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam St) until 1/2/11.  Tickets are just $20.

The show features a character named Mr. Clunkhead and a mermaid hailing from Brighton Beach, among others, and includes songs from the band’s stellar disc “Outside Voices”.  Reread my CD review in Time Out New York Kids Magazine here to learn more about PASTA!
