All Adoptions Should Be This Easy

The process of adopting animals, and thus becoming a ZooParent at the Elmwood Park Zoo, was swift and painless, even with using a pile of checks to seal the deal financially.

Say hi to the Bear’s Baby Elk:

In addition to this lovely little lady, the Bear also became the adopted mom to a lucky Flamingo.  Unfortunately the still-too-chilly weather didn’t permit the skinny-legged pink ones to roam free in view of the guests (and newly minted ZooParents) yesterday.

Not sure what the hell I’m talking about?  Read this, it should sufficiently explain the whole animal adoption thing.
