We haven't been watching the Olympics, but that sort of thing totally bugged me during football season. I was okay with them trying to sell trucks to the guy parts I presumably possess, but graphic commercials for crime shows seemed a bit too aggressive in the pursuit of damaging my kids for life.

One commercial that my girls (and I) like is the one with the cartoon squirrel pushing impossibly large things into a tree. It's selling some car...don't remember which one. I love that so many of these are car ads, because the girls aren't about to bug me for a Kia, or whatever. In general, they don't seem to connect advertising to the real world--yet--so we've been lucky.
